It seems like it has taken Clyde an age to get round to releasing his debut solo album, with the first cut on the LP being released as a 12” back in 2003. The cut in question was the blinding Serve It Up, which was and still is a brilliant hip-soul-house number. Elsewhere, Clyde crosses genres with ease, bringing everything from warped bass heavy hip hop to off key broken funkers and shuffly housers to his musical table. Winners include the desireful In Front Of Me, booty shaking Roll Of The Beast and of course the aforementioned Serve It Up. Hyper Reality is an album of sleazy warped electronic grooves with attitude from Clyde.
