BRS – Taste It (Pêng)
According to the cover art, the West Country’s British Rhythm Services bring us chocolate cake and other sweet treats. Musically, Taste It offers something a little different, as some of the album cuts are super sweet, whereas others are rather sour to the ears. To be honest, the album is a little hit and miss to say the least, but BRS do cook up some musical delights. Fill yourself up on beauties such as the pensive Missed Train, unapologetic Just Go and guitar driven Dreaming. BRS are best at making thoughtful vocal driven songs and these efforts make this album worth investigating.
